Trouble with custom width
on: November 6, 2011, 16:26

Hello,

How can I change the width to another number then the default 960px ? Actually, the width that is shown with the "minimal mode" is the one that I would like to have, but I don't know how to configure it. My blog : http://www.fashiongeekette.com

thank you.
Kind regards,

for changing the layout width you must have enabled the Minimal mode and Fluid width option

Thanks Roman. This helps. When I apply minimal mode, however, I loose the benefits of using the option "main colors" in design, in order to change the background colour of the header and others. How do I change those then ? The "colors" tab does not offer that possibility. Do I have to use CSS here ? Thank you !

you may change them with the minimal mode enabled. Just visit Background and Header options under Appearance.

Hi Roman:

How can shorten the length of the post tittles? Some of these tittles are just way too long. Here is one:

Ultimate Diet & Weight Loss Tips, How I Lost Over 100 lbs, Psyche truth Health & Fitness Motivation

I want to have no more than 50 characters in the tittle with a read more option if possible?

Thanks for any help!
