(NOTE: You can access all the shortcodes via the shortcodes icon on your visual editor. See this document if you need more information.)

The Modal Text Link shortcode lets you pop up content in a "modal" box by having visitors click on a text link.

To see an example, click this link.

In order to make this work, you will need to use two different shortcodes - The Modal Text Link shortcode and the Modal shortcode.

The Modal shortcode is where you set up the content to be displayed.

The Modal Text Link shortcode is where you set up the link to be clicked on. In order to do that, you must insert the unique modal's name (which you assign in the Modal shortcode) into the Modal Text Link setting in the appropriate box.

You create the link text by putting whatever text you'd like in the "Text or HTML code" box.

Here's a sample shortcode.

Here are the properties:

  • modal_text_link_name = insert the name of the modal you would like to pop up (remember, you must also use a Modal shortcode in combination with this shortcode)
  • Insert the text you'd like to use as your link text. If you are using it in a sentence, just insert the shortcode into the sentence in the appropriate place.
