Have just updated Alora on this site:

    http://waldegravearms.co.uk/

and now the Layerslider WP doesn’t work correctly. Is this an issue you can correct or is it now down to the creator of Layerslider to fix?

I don’t want to update my other sites using Alora until I know what has caused the issue and its corrected.

    Regards,

    Hi Roman,

The slider is showing, but our first picture (of the pub) has now been enlarged so you only see the roof and all the rest of the images “drag” during transition before suddenly appearing correctly. I have tried three different browsers and they all have the same results.

    Thanks, Jon

Having looked again, it is the wipe transitions that are not working. The fades are ok

    Hi Jon,

I’m looking at the site and everything plus the picture transition seems to be working perfectly. Did you manage to sort out the issue?

Please let me know if there’s anything else.

This is what I see on my PC and I have checked it on another computer too. The wipe transition are ‘dragging’ a section of the picture across the slider and then suddenly correct themselves to the full picture

I have received this information from the creator of Layerslider WP that infers that the theme is causing the issue:

“The problem is caused by the following code in your style.css starting on line 1724:

    .about-author img.avatar, #sliders-container img { border-radius: 0px; -border-radius: 0px; -moz-border-radius: 0px; -webkit-border-radius: 0px; height: auto !important; margin: 0 !important; }

The height:auto and margin: 0 attributes are being applied on every image in the slider, therefore affecting the transitions as well and resulting in this animation issue. If you did not add this style then most likely your theme is generating it, and in this case we recommend to contact them on how you can remove it or prevent it from applying on the slider.”

    Hi Denzel,

This appears to have worked thank you.

Will this be addressed in future Alora updates or will I need to adjust this each time?

    Hi,

I had reported this as a bug to our developers, they should find a solution and provide it in next theme update.

    Thank you.
