Hi! I love evolve theme and trying to set up the website. On the right side on home page, there is bootstrap things and I would like to know how to edit it and where. Thank you so much!
This is a simple hero unit, a simple jumbotron-style component for calling extra attention to featured content or information.

I’m wondering the same thing. I can’t see it in the list of Widgets though – where did you find it, and how did you edit it please?

visit Appearance -> Widgets and use a Text widget, insert there for example:Code:<!– Nav tabs –>
<ul class=”nav nav-tabs”>
<li class=”active”><a href=”#home” data-toggle=”tab”>Home</a></li>
<li><a href=”#profile” data-toggle=”tab”>Profile</a></li>
<li><a href=”#messages” data-toggle=”tab”>Messages</a></li>
<li><a href=”#settings” data-toggle=”tab”>Settings</a></li>
<!– Tab panes –>
<div class=”tab-pane active” id=”home”>…</div>
<div class=”tab-pane” id=”profile”>…</div>
<div class=”tab-pane” id=”messages”>…</div>
<div class=”tab-pane” id=”settings”>…</div>
Thanks for this, I’ll go and read up on it. Meanwhile though, I pasted the code you gave above, but it is just showing as that text, it’s not actually showing as the bootstrap thing. I’ve tried pasting it into the visual box as well as trying it in the HTML.
Could you advise further please?RomanKeymasterFebruary 7, 2014 at 4:19 pmPost count: 2538Been thanked: 29 times

Thanks, it’s nicolaboothconsultancy.co.uk
Could you also let me know where to find the search results page, as I’d like to edit the bootstrap thing there. When I do a search, the results page just shows the generic bootstrap, which is obviously irrelevant to my site.
Thanks againRomanKeymasterFebruary 8, 2014 at 4:36 pmPost count: 2538Been thanked: 29 times
are you using any custom sidebars? because when you add any widget to the sidebar widget area, the bootstrap example should disappear.Brian Bullet TromblaySpectatorFebruary 8, 2014 at 5:05 pmPost count: 1Been thanked: 0 times
Good Day Roman, Nicola.
Same issue, Bootstrap Box is up on the right side.
Have page set to Wide, no sidebars.
‘Hello World!’ still there, unwanted, perhaps my refresh of the pages is not appearing? or uploading slow in the background.
I’ll keep pursuing clearing all blog options to reset for re-entry.

have you inserted any widgets?Nicola BoothSpectatorFebruary 8, 2014 at 8:01 pmPost count: 21Been thanked: 0 times
You’re right, when I add widgets to my sidebars the bootstrap disappears. The problem I have is that I can’t find the search results page, so I can’t edit the sidebars. It doesn’t appear on my list of pages, and I don’t know how else to find it.

it’s in index.php file line #544Nicola BoothSpectatorFebruary 9, 2014 at 5:01 pmPost count: 21Been thanked: 0 times
You are right, the bootstrap is overwritten when I add widgets – but I need to be able to find the page to add widgets and I don’t know where to find the Search results page.
Please let me know if you don’t understand my request, I’ve asked a few times now on this question and on another, but I’m maybe not using the correct terminology.
I’m not really sure how else to explain it, but I’ll try.
When I use the search bar, the page that comes up showing the results has a sidebar with the bootstrap thing. I would like to either edit this bootstrap or overwrite it with some other widgets. The only way I know of doing this is going to the relevant page and adding a sidebar, then editing it in ‘widgets’ section to add the widgets I want on that particular sidebar.
The problem is that the only pages I can see are the ones I created – I can’t see the page that returns the search results – so I can’t add a sidebar or edit the widgets.
Can you please let me know how I find this page which returns the results of a search?
Thanks v much,

when you add your widgets in the Widgets page, they will display on the search results page also as well as on other pages. there are not available any custom sidebars for pages. there is not a search results page. it’s generated through index.php file as I mentioned above.
