None of the buttons work when I try to customize my site. I can’t even change the layout.

Ever since I updated the Evolve+ theme to version 2.6.0, I also cannot customize my site using the feature “Customize”. I have to go to “Appearance – Theme Options” to make any changes. However, I have lost previous settings and certain ones don’t work for me now.Denzel ChiaModeratorApril 23, 2016 at 10:18 amPost count: 3211Been thanked: 128 times
I can replicate this issue.
In Appearance -> Customize
The save button is not working.
Screen-cast of my test.
I will report this issue to my employer.
Please wait for fix in next version.
At the moment, Please use Appearance -> Theme Options.
Thank you.RomanKeymasterApril 23, 2016 at 5:28 pmPost count: 2542Been thanked: 29 times
for me it actually works, probably you are moving too fast and don’t let the preview page to reload…then the button changes to Save/PublishGreg ReverdiauParticipantApril 23, 2016 at 9:39 pmPost count: 1Been thanked: 0 times
Same problem here, waiting for the preview to reload doesn’t do anything.RomanKeymasterApril 23, 2016 at 10:19 pmPost count: 2542Been thanked: 29 times

I tried installing the theme and installation keeps failing. It says I already have it installed so I’ll change the file nameNicole AmberParticipantApril 23, 2016 at 11:01 pmPost count: 41Been thanked: 0 times
Still failing. This is the message I get:
Destination folder already exists. /home/ncasati/casatihomecomfort.com/wp-content/themes/evolve-plus/
Theme install failed.
Do I need to delete the current theme in order to install the updated theme package?Nicole AmberParticipantApril 23, 2016 at 11:51 pmPost count: 41Been thanked: 0 times
I updated the theme and the Customize still doesn’t work, neither does the ‘save’ button
Now my Front Page Content Boxes are misaligned and they have merged. I am having so many issues since the update!!! Very frustrating to say the least. It seems there are more and more problems arising with this theme.

please use Redux Framework plugin to enable the theme options…there is a bug with the customizer and WP 4.5 in some OS and browsers.John McMasterSpectatorApril 25, 2016 at 3:40 pmPost count: 11Been thanked: 0 times
How do I do that? Tried customizing WP 4.5 (on Ubuntu) with Mac 10.10.5 FF/Safari/Chrome, Win7 IE11 and Ubuntu 14 FF and none of them allowed me to customize….

please read my previous comment…download the Redux Plugin, it will enable the theme options panel for youJohn McMasterSpectatorApril 25, 2016 at 7:29 pmPost count: 11Been thanked: 0 times
I had it but did not see how to edit the theme with it. What I have found is that if I open the web page, then from there open ‘theme options’ I can then edit the settings…

After you have installed the reduxframework plugin.
Go to Appearance -> Theme Options
You will be able to see an option panel.
There is no preview for this Theme Options
You need to make changes, save it and view it on your webpage front end.
