    For Google Headings Font I selected Lato.

    For Post Content h1 I want it to be Lato Thin so put in custom CSS

    .post-content h1 {
    font-weight: 100 !important;
    }

    It changes to 100 weight but immediately goes back to normal.

    Tried

    .post-content h1 {
    font-family: “Lato”, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-weight: 100;
    }

    With same result.

    What else can I do?

    Hi Kim,

    Thanks for writing in!

    Upon checking into your website, I’ve noticed instead of to be chosen ‘Lato’ font for post headings, you actually have chose ‘Cantarell’, which don’t allow the font weight more thinner then 400 (see: http://prntscr.com/9yuu2s). Please chose the ‘Lato’ font under Appearance -> Theme Options -> Typography -> Post Title & Content. As per shown here (see: http://prntscr.com/9yuwpg).

    On a side note, please remove all custom code related post headings font you’ve added to your custom Css field, so that the theme’s default styling doesn’t get affect.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you!

    Hi Kim,

    Thank for providing the URL!

    Upon checking into your site, it seems that you haven’t installed mandatory plugin “Redux Framework”. In order to resolve your issue, please go under your Admin Panel -> Plugins. The plugin which would be showing at the top of the page “Redux Framework”, please install and activate.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you!

    Something not quite right here, unless I have a moderator from the Twilight Zone.
    First you tell me I’m using a font that I’m not, then I need to install a plugin that is already installed and activated.
    If you don’t have an answer to my question just tell me.
    Cheers

    Hi Kim,

    Thanks for your patience!

    I’ve looked into your website which is currently using alora theme. Though, theme alora doesn’t offer the option to set your font-weight up to 100 as like evolve (see: http://prntscr.com/9ziath). However, theme evolve changes the weight of font Lato up to 100 (see: http://prntscr.com/9zih08).

    Thank you!
