    Dear all,
I’ve set up the them to have left and right sidebars, as well as set up specific sidebars for individual pages. While I understand that the custom sidebars only replace sidebar 1, this is not happening on my child-theme?

    Could anyone explain why?

    Cheers,

    J

PS. yes I’ve read the docs!

has the child theme identical sidebar files?

the only files the child theme has are the style sheet in the root which holds the child theme comment block, the functions.php which only calls to load the child theme css in the css folder, and the css folder with the styles.css in there … . for now. I’ve not imported any parent theme files at this time.
