You will need Google Maps API Key. Theme Options -> Contact -> Google Maps API
If you are still unable to get it working. Please use the “default” embed.

Hello! Thank you for the response. When I go to Theme Options –> Contact , there is not Google MAPS API field. Please advise.Denzel ChiaModeratorSeptember 29, 2016 at 7:12 amPost count: 3010Been thanked: 109 times
If you can’t see the field, it means you are using old theme version.
Please update to Alora 2.8.1

Yes, thank you. I have currently verion 2.7 installed but admin area of wordpress under updates it doesn’t show me that there is an update available for the theme.
What do I do so I can upgrade through the wordpress admin area so none of the customization (e.g. custom css) get’s lost? Thanks for all your help.Denzel ChiaModeratorSeptember 30, 2016 at 6:34 amPost count: 3010Been thanked: 109 timesJeff RolloParticipantSeptember 30, 2016 at 11:31 amPost count: 16Been thanked: 3 times
Are you using Ubermenu? It’s causing me grief in a similar wayJeff RolloParticipantSeptember 30, 2016 at 11:41 amPost count: 16Been thanked: 3 times
For me, this did the trick: Appearance->Ubermenu->General Settings->Load Google Maps API remove the tickHartmut EggertSpectatorOctober 4, 2016 at 3:02 amPost count: 5Been thanked: 0 times
I look at the documentation link for theme update it says:
1. Update Theme through Admin Area
Updating your theme through the WordPress admin area is also the easiest way to update.
When you’re in your admin area, you will see indicators that something needs to be updated. If you click on those indicators, you will see which themes or plugins need updating.
In order to update your Theme4Press theme, simply check the box beside it, and click the “Update Themes” button.
(***Important: Make sure you have already entered your Theme4Press credentials mentioned before.)
However, it’s telling me my theme is up to date, even though I have version 2.7 installed. Please advise. Thanks!Denzel ChiaModeratorOctober 4, 2016 at 5:39 amPost count: 3010Been thanked: 109 times
Can you find the Appearance -> Theme Updates?
It’s an admin setting page for you to enter your username and password for automatic updates to work.
If you are not seeing this admin page, you are using a very old theme version. You need to do manual theme update.

No I cannot see that. How do I manually update the theme? And when I do that will all customization (e.g. custom css) and content remain in place?

As mentioned in my previous reply.
Please refer to the following documentation, the steps are at the end of the document.
It’s a simple delete of existing theme and installing current theme via Appearance -> Themes.

Thank you. Yes, I will follow the instruction. I have custom css though and was just wondering if I delete the theme and install the most up to date version, will I loose the them customization or will that stay as it is?Denzel ChiaModeratorOctober 6, 2016 at 10:31 amPost count: 3010Been thanked: 109 times
Code in Theme Options -> Custom CSS is saved in database not in theme file.
If your current theme does not use reduxframework plugin, and it’s using the old theme options framework, settings may be lost when you upgrade your theme.
Note: Please copy out all your custom css into a text file and Save it as a backup. It’s always good to backup.
