Only ben using this template for a coupleof days and going OK but images are proving my downfall.

As you can see on frontpage I have tried to add grid format blog via shortcode. I have added image in post and image as featured post.
In both cases the image turns oblong from circle. (all the icon used on the frontpageare the same size exactly) I am sure it is obvious, but if anyone could point mein the right direction that would be great. I am really just aiming to show some posts in blog style with out them been squashed.

    Hi,

Remove the following from your custom css.

    Redo your customization.

    Thank you.

    Hi Denzel,
Thank-you for your reply and you have most certainely sorted that. So I am going to try my luck again. I wonder how you get thumbnails to appear – i.e. is there any way I can make a thumbnail appear in the grid post rather that the featured image which it stretches to fit box?

I have just had another go:
I have made sure featured image is set.
I have deleted posts and customisation of frontpage
I have recreated posts (obvioulsy adding their featured image again )and shortcode on frontpage .

No thumbnails – in fact I do not get them anywhere – is there somewhere else I need to do to turn on thumbnails?

If I alter the size of images to make them smaller so they look better when in blog posts they just stretch to fit some preordained size and then pixilate.

Hope you can help – without thumbnails everything is too big

    Hi,

Use an image tool such as pixelmator.
    http://www.pixelmator.com/mac/

Either resize your image or add them onto a large white background and combine as one image.
You can have a large image with a small “icon” in the middle.

Upload as featured image and the theme will crop into predetermined image sizes.

    Thank you.
