I recently uploaded evolve to my website and my images, although a larger size when uploaded are being chosen from smaller ones when used and upscaled.

I notice the code in the featured image markup which has &resize tagged on the end. When this is removed then the images look exactly like they are supposed to. When it is present the images are noticeably upscaled.

Where in the theme panel can I remove this unwanted addition? This is NOT an image issue, they are created much larger than required so they can downscale with ease and retina devices can still get a good experience.

    I appreciate your speedy reply.

    Hi,

I notice the code in the featured image markup which has &resize tagged on the end. When this is removed then the images look exactly like they are supposed to.

Do you mean you modified the add_image_size function found in the theme?

Where in the theme panel can I remove this unwanted addition?

Sorry, there is no option to change image sizes in the Theme.

You can modified the image size and use this plugin to regenerate your thumbnails.

Our support does not include assistance in modifying theme codes.
