you can insert this in the Theme Options -> Custom CSS:
.home .entry-categories {display:none;}

Spoke to soon and can’t edit last reply.
Its still showing once I click on the post. What do I need to add to include posts and not just home?

then only remove the .home class:
.entry-categories {display:none;}
