    Hi guys,

I loved your Evolve theme (which madesense since my site is about descent of species lol) so I figured I’d up the game and purchase Alora, which adds a bit more, of course.

I’m very much a beginner here, and I decided the best way to start, is to set up navigation.

At the moment, I have 2 types of posts, namely blog posts and news posts.

On the main page, I want to see both, but from the main menu, when I click on blogs or news, I want to see ONLY these items. But right now, when I click on news, I’m seeing news and blogs.

Clearly this is a beginner error, but if someone might be able to tell me where I’m going wrong, I’d appreciate it.

The site is at: Descent of Species

    Thanks kindly,

    Shawn

I just tried to upload the demo content to get a handle on things, and everything copied twice, there is two of everything. I’m going to have to uninstall my blog I guess and start from scratch. WTF?

this issue happens when your server has not set the minimum php requirements as per our knowledge base https://theme4press.com/knowledge-base/ . is there still the issue?

Roman, I’m trying to run a localhost install of WP as well. I’ve got the blog running, and your theme works, but I can’t download the demo. It just stalls at “waiting for localhost” and eventually throws a bunch of errors. I am using WAMP. Is there a normal fix for this? I assume I need to change certain server settings? I also assume this has nothing to do with your theme:)
