I followed these directions in updating a 2nd website using Evolve: temporary fix as mentioned in another thread, open file library/functions/widgets/contact_info.php, change this string Contact_Info_Widget (3x) , to theme_Contact_Info_Widget

Obviously I did something wrong as I got this message: Warning: Missing argument 1 for WP_Widget::__construct(), called in /home/content/69/9273369/html/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 560 and defined in /home/content/69/9273369/html/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 159

The website seems to be functioning but the warning shows at the top of each page.

Once again, help, please & thank you, K

Roman, I hope most people you deal with are not as problematic as I. I tried doing that but it keeps telling me the download failed.

I’m afraid to deactive Evolve for fear of losing the formatting on the site but maybe that’s what I have to do?

just make a backup of your current theme, remove it and upload the new version, that’s all 😉
