    Just got the evolve plus upgrade and WordPress is not allowing me to upload it within the Theme manager.

    New theme > Add new > Upload theme is not working.

    This may be a redundant post but I have successfully uploaded other themes this way, why is evolve being pesky? I hope the answer is not going to get overly-technical.

    Hi Roman,

    It says: “the connection was reset” “The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.”

    I tried about 5 or 6 times but it wouldn’t take. It’s a great looking theme, I’m anxious to put it to use.

    I did check and thought it might be a “php.ini” problem on the server side from what I was reading? I’m not really sure and not super tech-savvy. I bought this upgrade with the expectation that I could simply import it and run it as I had done with other templates.

    How would I go about fixing something like that?

    You can try add this code to your WordPress wp-config.php on top of file.

    set_time_limit(120);

    There seems to be more than one thread with this issue, meaning that it’s symptomatic. Is this something Theme4Press is working on? An upfront disclaimer would have been nice to read before purchasing this product, that it has limited functionality with WordPress. Or at least on a scale of 1-10 of tech knowledge required to install it, maybe a 6 or 7?

    I used Filezilla to ftp it up and it seems to work fine so far! If anyone else is having problems uploading the evolve plus to WordPress, I would recommend against using the built-in WordPress theme installer. So far ftp has worked!

    Well im pretty much sure that main problem of installing Evolve theme is not related to Evolve itself but the hosting configuration or something related to your web hosting.

    I have same problem on my VPS server with some of WordPress websites which are runing on custom WordPress themes, many things could be wrong and im ready to check this for you if you provide me FTP user/pass for your website in Private Reply.
