I purchased and installed/activated Evolve Plus using the zip file and the WordPress admin panel. I can tell the theme is running but can’t Complete Setup Now (error below) or Customize.

    Issue 1 –
Please enter your username and password to enable updates to evolve Plus.
    Complete the setup now

Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

    Issue 2-
    No options appear under Customize

Issue 1 – Thanks for fixing. I think you change something in evolve-plus/functions.php. Can you let me know what changed so I can update my other site with the same problem or should I copy functions.php from one site to the other?

Issue 2 – Root cause is
<b>Fatal error</b>: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in <b>/public_html/dblog/wp-content/plugins/sucuri-scanner/sucuri.php</b>

I disabled the Sucuri plugin temporarily and was able to customize the theme. I guess I could either increase the PHP max execution time or just disable while customizing. It is strange that the other site that has Sucuri and is on the same hosting account customizes fine.

Yes our development team update in function.php file, you can just copy and paste this file in other you evolve theme.

    Issue 2:
Yes you should try to increase PHP execution time and memory limit, may be this solve your issue.
