Hi! I have a problem with my custom sidebars. I have one default sidebar for my blog and several custum sidebars for my pages. Every time I upgrade to the latest evolve+ Version, all my custom sidebars are a mess. All the widgets are gone or have transferred to another sidebar, so that I have to put them back to the right places. What can I do to avoid this chaos every time I upgrade? As I remember this problem firstly appeared with version 5.9.9.5 an now also with the newest version.

Now that I upgraded to 2.9.9.8 some custom siebars stayed as they were supposed to, but two still were disrupted und I had to fix them by taking their widgets out of the default sidebar, where they magically went to while upgrading …

Hi, when you update theme just replace it via FTP if you update it manual.
such an error is possible only if the slug of the activated theme does not match the one that was activated, accordingly, the settings will not be taken from another slug.
for example, you changed the theme folder name or switch to the child theme. then old options will not take in new slug
