I have my home page as I want it but I may want to add a full width thumbnail slider. Is it possible to have a full width element above the main page content which is a 2 column layout, but below the revolution slider?

    Thanks

yes it is, you could use the parallax slider Appearance -> Parallax slider, just enable it for the homepage, or you could use a flexslider shortcode – https://theme4press.com/alora-documentation/shortcodes/flexslider/ and place it on the homepage above the 2 column layout

    Hi Roman,

What i actually want is to have 3 hover over images above the main content, much the same as the content boxes, then these would lead to the 3 product groups that I have. At the moment if I add a new row to the page content it only comes in the main section and not over both main section and sidebar, does that make sense.

So can I add a new row that goes full width above what I have now?

    Thanks.

And I already have a revolution slider on my home page.

Can I have a static flexslider on the same page as the revolution slider?

    Thanks

that’s possible only by changing the theme’s code

OK, so how can I do it? Any ideas?

    1. Slider at top
    2. 3 hover images beloe the slider
    3. 2 column with sidebar content as it is now.

I wonder if I could put the 3rd one in the sidebar and make it look like they are on the same row.

    What do you think.

you could try to enable header widgets yet – Theme Options -> Header -> Number of widget cols in header , select 3 columns and add there text widgets with the images which you need

OK, that might work. Can I change the widget columns background colour? And the widget background colour?

to change the header area background color Theme Options -> Styling -> Color scheme of the slideshow and widgets area

    for the widgets background css:

    .widgets-back-inside .widget-content {background: #f6f6f6;}

or Theme Options -> Styling -> Disable Widget Background

    Great. Thanks.

Can I make Color scheme of the slideshow and widgets area a flat colour?
Or can I change the height of this area?
