Hi, I have the following problem:

I uploaded an image to the media library and set it as a logo the logo for my WP app running Evolve Plus, working on a XAMPP server. The logo would not show when I accessed the site from the internet, because the address pointed at localhost. I could solve this using a plugin which creates relative URLs.

Or at least I thought so…

I now realised that the URL for the logo changes depending on the browser used. It displays fine with Firefox or Chrome, but strangely, when IE is used the logo doesn’t display. I examined the URL and – in IE – it now points to a local IP starting with 192.168… which of course leads nowhere from the internet.

When I work on the server directly on the other hand the browsers want try to access the public address for the logo and again fail to display it.

I hope you can help me quickly, because I have to present the site to my teacher tomorrow, which was the sole reason I bought the theme in the first place.

    Many thanks in advance

    David
