    I have evolve plus. Site is http://www.shimmyshack,com. I would like to add a widget area in the top right side of the header. The choices available for header widgets show 1, 2, 3, or 4 evenly spaced widgets. I am not sure how to set this up so that the right side (currently blank – to the right of the photo in the header) is where I want the widget to appear (directly above the sidebar on the main part of the page). Guess what I need is a sidebar in the header into which I can add the widget. Can you please look at the site and let me know what your suggestion is to leave the header in place (I can adjust the size so it appears the same) and have a sidebar/widget on the right where I would like to place a google calendar. I sure hope this makes sense. If you can point me in the correct direction to accomplish this it will save me hours of “poking it with a stick”.

    Hi,

    Go to Appearance and open Theme Options
    Theme Options -> Header -> Header Widgets (Choose different options)
    After that you add header widgets, go to Widgets area in Appearance. In this section, you see four Header Widget sidebar box and you add a different widget in this header widget sidebar.

    Close but not right. That put the widget over the area where the slider would be if I had one. I need it over the header at the top of the page – the area with the logo and photo. I need the calendar to appear to the right of the photo on http://shimmyshack.com/1544-2/

    How is this customization? Isn’t the header where the logo is? Isn’t that where the header widgets should go? I would think that the theme is not purring it in the correct location.

    Hi,

    You right header widget not in the header because we created header widget position below the Header. It’s not in the header and it’s not a proper design standard. Always, Logo, Search box, menu, social icon, contact details etc include in the header, not whole header widget add in the header area. Its right positioning is below to header like that footer widget.
