I have read a number of other threads on the help forum that relate to issues updating to WordPress 5.5. It seems that when I upgrade to WordPress 5.5 it develops a conflict with the Component Shortcodes.

With the Component Shortcodes enabled, I cannot edit the Widgets without the Accessibility Mode enabled. On the Theme page (under Appearance) I cannot open the “Theme Details” button. The site health tool stops working. Also, on one site, I have a plugin called Query Monitor that stops working.

With the Component Shortcodes disabled, all of these work again. Evolve is updated to 2.9.9.8, Component Shortcodes is updated to 1.0.2. All other plugins are up to date as well (and the t4p core is long gone 🙂 ). I have tried clearing the cache and refreshing the page as you suggested on a couple other threads.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi. Sorry, no other ideas. The configuration you are describing shouldn’t cause any trouble. Did you check the console for errors? When you experience them? Normally, you should see in the console where the error is.
