I have been using evolve for a long time and recently it became impossible for me to update the parallax slider – I kept getting an error “There was a problem with your action. Please try again or reload the page.”

I have tried several things to resolve the issue but have not had much luck – I decided to upgrade to Evolve Plus in the hopes of resolving the issue but I still have it when using the theme options to update the slides. I was able to change one via the initial set up for Evolve Plus but that does not seem like it fully resolved the issue.

    my website is gamersden.net

    Thank you,
    Rhonda

    Hi,

Clear your browser caches and try again.
If it does not solve please deactivate your plugin and one by one activate it and check your problem because we saw Internal server error on your console screen.

    For solve bootstrap error:
Reupload images in bootstrap slide because images do not find in this path.

    Thank you

Hi Priyank – thank you for your assistance.

I cleared the cache and deactivated all plug ins other than redux framework, which appears to be necessary for the slider editing menu. When I tried to remove the stock image from the slider I still got an error.

    Hi Rhonda,

We Check your site and find your problem:
    http://prnt.sc/etvujf

The cause of this issue lies with PHP 5.2 not supporting func_get_args as a function parameter but has to be put in a variable first.

From PHP 5.3 and onward this issue should not exist.

Currently, You are using PHP version 5.2.17
    Check link: gamersden.net/wp-content/phpinfo.php

Please contact your hosting provider in order to upgrade your PHP version. PHP 5.2 has not received any updates for over 5 years and therefore holds a security risk whilst using.
It’s currently best to use PHP 5.6.5 or later. That version is also much, much faster than PHP 5.2; PHP 7 even more so (which is twice as fast as PHP 5.6).

    Thank you

I updated my PHP to 5.3 and the problem is resolved. Godaddy did not have many options for upgrading but 5.3 was available.

Thank you so much for your assistance with this issue, I really appreciate it!
