  Hello Alok.

  I attmpted to changed the URL of my WordPress site running Alora from

  http://www.geneva-education.com/blog/ to http://www.geneva-education.com/ via the wordpress panel.

  Immediately afterwards I got error messages and changed it back to the original location http://www.geneva-education.com/blog/. I edited the functions.php as described here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL

  The site is now broken (see http://www.geneva-education.com/blog/) and worst of all I cannot login to wordpress anymore. When I try to login, the password seems accepted and it seems to start loading up wordpress but then the page stops without change. (Still showing the password page.)

  Would really appreciate your help as my site is unusable 🙁

I would recommend to contact your web hosting provider as this is not our theme issue related, they can see what error(s) your website now generates. The best solution for this kind of errors is not change anything if you are not sure what you are doing 😉
