    That’s because I restored an old version of the site from a backup, so I”m now back on evolve+ 2.6.8 and everything is working fine again. I attached a screenshot to my initial inquiry — you cannot offer any guidance based on that? Would I have to update again and cause the same problems in order for it to be fixed? I’m hesitant to do that for obvious reasons.

    the issue is in your browser cache…enable the latest version of theme and clean the browser’s cache

    I tried it on two browsers on my computer, as well as on my phone, and the same issues were occurring on all three platforms.

    Hi, sorry for the delay. I’ve now updated to 2.7.1, and while the menu is no longer repeating, the upgrade did once again create gray boxes around my sidebar widgets and footer. Can you please advise how to get rid of those gray boxes? Thank you.

    Hi

    You can remove background color and border following option:
    Theme options -> Styling -> Slideshow & Widgets Area
    Disable Widget Content Boxed Background, check this option

    This box is already checked, and always has been. Prior to the update, this worked perfectly and there was no gray background. But after this update, the gray appears even when the box is checked. (just fyi, when I uncheck the box, the gray background becomes somewhat 3-dimensional looking, and when I re-check the box it goes back to the flat gray color that you see now).
