When placing a search from the search box on the homepage I do not get any results. If I change theme to twenty fifteen then I can see search results. Is there something I need to do to see search results? Thank you.

I am running wordpress on Linux. Do I have to install an FTP server package on my box or is there some FTP functionality built into wordpress? How can I test and verify functionality?

I have tried with word “test” and it’s working perfectly for me.

Get search results from first shot: https://inspectorportal.millinfo.com/?s=test

When you are searching for something and there is no match in database you will get message similiar to this:

Your search for "adsasd" did not match any entries

and that’s normal Evolve behaviour, so basically try searching some text that you already added via posts or page like i gave an example with “test” keyword.

Please let me know if you have still problem with searching.

You know I just updated to WP 4.2 and didnt even bother to test search functionality. That must have fixed it somehow. Thank you again for looking into this. Sorry for the back and forth.
