    I tried to add a line feed using </br> in the site tagline and it looks great in preview. after publish it does not. It shows the code instead. Also tried <p> </p> which also looks great in preview, but when published it just shows the html code and does not start a new line.

    How can I add a break in the site tagline?

    Hi,

    special HTML entities cannot be added in the tagline itself. WP core doesn’t allow it.

    Ok, I got around it by inserting ascii code for space in the text until it wrapped to the second line and then added the text for line 2.
