    This guide tells me how to update a theme but not how to keep the configuration options.

    As a matter of fact I have tried yesterday to update Evolve+ v2.8.3 to v2.9.6 but the Theme can not be updated via the WordPress admin interface. I had then to delete Evolve+ old version before installing the newer one.But even after copying back my CSS code I lost all of my configuration options. I had to reinstall a back-up version of my website.

    My questions:
    1) How do I update Evolve+ to newer v2.9.6 while maintaining all of my configuration options?
    2) Will I also be able to keep my configuration options when I migrate to the newer Evolve theme version and how?
