    Create a menu item with the name you want as the label but where it asks for a URL just use the # sign. This will create a menu item that does not have a link 🙂

    Thank you, I kind of guessed that much, but I am not a coder so I do not know where in header.php I need to place it… I would experiment but the site is live and I don’t want to break anything 😉

    I tried again a couple days ago. It’s 2.8.1 now I believe. Apparently they have fixed whatever the issue was. Worked without a hitch.
