There is an image on this page that looks fine in Safari but in Firefox it is tiny:

Tried varying the size of the image from a width of 800 to 1800 without significant change in Firefox.

Took a jpg screen shot but don’t know how to put the jpg into this message for you to see.

Thanks Daniel! I switched to JPEG. The image is now visible in Safari and in Chrome. We’re definitely on the right path!!!
But the image is still TINY in Firefox. And in Safari also, it looks fine on an iPhone when viewed vertically, but remains too small when the iPhone is repositioned to the horizontal.
Is there something I can do to fix the image on Firefox, and to have it resize better on the iPhone?

I tried the recommended custom CSS but it did not change the problem.
It is strange because all the pages look great (for example, http://www.lubanlab.org/links/ )
EXCEPT the “home” or welcome page (http://www.lubanlab.org ). Only this page has an extra gray bar under the menu in the header.

You mentioned that you don’t see any particular large empty spacing for http://www.lubanlab.org
Is it possible to delete the gray horizontal line that is just under the black Menu Bar and above the top of the white page area?
As requested I made a screenshot but don’t understand how to insert the screenshot in this message. Maybe my text description of the problem is clear enough anyway.

    Thanks again,
    Jeremy
