    Hi Denzel,

That was the issue. That was my last resort to double-check that. So glad you mentioned it as it confirmed that it could have been the issue. Widget Title Background issue now resolved.

    Thanks!

    Hello again Imran,

Thanks for all your help. I was able to resolve the border-radius and the coloring of the widget-content area, but still having problems with the widget header background color area.

It should be the same code as it is a WP install and then the Evolve theme. Hope we manage to resolve it soon. It seems to work on the main site.

By the way, the widget that I would like to use a custom color for the content background will be called Pastors’ Corner. Is it also possible to use an image for the widget content background?

    Regards.

I do not know why the code for the widget header background color does not work on that sub-domain as it has WP installed and the theme. I presume the code there should be the same.

Also, how may I add background color to the content area of a particular widget?

    Thanks.

    Imran,

I added the code. The text color did change to white, and moved above the thin colored “widget header background”, but the widget header still does not show as yours does. Don’t know why. I can try adjusting the px amount. If I disable that thin line, I have no background header with color at all.

I sent an email to you with an image.

    Hello again Imran,

I used the code on one of the sub-domains. There was a narrow colored bar above the widget header text, but not behind it as in the image you sent. The bar also did not cover the entire width of the widget.

    Please advise.

    Yes Imran,

It does help. Thank you. I also wanted to know how to enter the code for “border radius” so I can have rounded widgets. What I tried did not work. Should I start another forum topic?

    Best regards.

Thank you Denzel for the reply. Here is the Hex Code for one of the possible colors: #001452. The site URL is fogwm.org.

Will try it as well. So if I want to edit the CSS, the best way is to enter the code into the Custom CSS? Was thinking of using a plug-in to expand the text editor function. Would that be another option? Tried some plug-ins and could not get them to work.

Is there a place where I can find a list of codes to expand the functionality of Evolve…besides the short codes that are included? Also have a question pending that may require just that…a code. Think Evolve is a great theme…loving it so far.
