the menu height can be set in Header Options -> Main Nav Height
ok. when you visit the plugins page, there is a message on the top of the page that the theme4press core plugin is recommended to be installed? have you visit Appearance -> Install Plugins ?
you need to visit Plugins page, install it and enable it
Insert in the Custom CSS field:

modify per your needs
have you enabled the Theme4Press Core plugin? When you edit a page/post do you have enabled visual editor?
you mean the box effect on the selected/hovered menu item? its coded like this with the effect, its not an issue
the problem was in the .menu-header css rule so it seems you removed the right one 🙂
then you can’t 🙂
I will try to add this as a feature in the next theme release…thanks for the suggestion and your patience
you can set it in evolve Settings -> Styling Options -> Color scheme of the slideshow and widgets area , color HEX #595959
