Most customizable free theme I know of
In my search for a good-looking customizable responsive theme I have tried a couple dozen different ones. Some popular ones, some highly rated ones, some that came recommended for one purpose or another, some from those ‘best theme’ lists. Funnily enough I don’t recall where I ended up finding evolve, but I’m glad I did!
evolve is by far the most customizable free theme I’ve come across. All the settings that matter for how your website looks are available. The extras in the paid version are exactly that – extras. You can build a perfectly functional and good-looking website without spending a dime using this theme.
On top of that the theme author is very responsive and friendly, even when it concerns issues with a child theme.
Finally there is a clear and concise changelog, all previous versions are easily available should you require a rollback and the author takes care to preserve backward compatibility.
For me evolve is hands down the best free theme available. Thanks

A great theme and great support (answers are usually given within the shortest time). I use the (free) theme on several pages and have meanwhile also purchased a license for the Pro (evolve +) version. Thanks a lot.
Great for customisation
In terms of customisation options this is the best WordPress theme I’ve used. Over the years I’ve tried a lot of themes so it’s a big compliment for me to be so impressed by one. Out of the box it has worked great for me. The end result is a fantastic looking website which works excellently for my users.

This is not just my first review on a theme or plugin. but it’s also my first review online for the so many years i have been using the internet and I want to give it to evolve theme. they have a great theme nicely designed and easy to use theme options. even the free version is so feature packed and has everything i need. i don’t even review apps on the app store cos reviews are a bit tedious and distracting i think so if have come here to write so many words, it’s cos i know what i am talking about. i have used so many themes and evolve has really impressed me with options you’d find in premium themes. and they have more to give even in their premium version. thanks to the company for this wonderful and powerful theme.

So many options in the easy-to-use-even-for-a-newbie WYSIWYG customizer, which I normally had to manually and laboriously create in the CSS editor of other themes. Amazing!

I've been using it for the last couple of months and I love it so far. There have been things I haven't like much, but with a couple of tweaks it is now the best theme I've ever used.

I really do like this theme. I've used it on a couple of sites and it does impress with it's Design and added Features. One of the best Banner Slideshows out there. Unlimited Fonts and Colours. This theme has a lot to offer and it was fairly easy to figure out how to modify it to my needs.

What a great theme and support! So many options and all very understandable for non WordPress nerds.
All working fine for me. Breeze to use, easy to change styles with custom CSS. Its a nice clean theme with a lot of options, lots of widget room and plenty of design features to play around with to get the look you want.
Used of their themes in the past, worked flawless. The design and overall html structure was meticulous. The one thing that I really like was how fast they loaded, wordpress is notorious for loading slow. Thanks for the great work guys, we appreciate it.
