    Hello,

    I am wondering how I might modify the look of the calendar widget on my sidebar? As it is now you can barely see whether a date has posts or not. Can I make it more obvious if a date on the calendar has a post? Also, can I add colors to the calendar as well, currently it is quite plain.

    Thank you,
    Michael

    Hi,

    Please use the following in Theme Options-> Custom CSS
    It will make your date red color, if there is a post.

    #wp-calendar a {
    color: red;
    }

    And please elaborate on where and what color you want to add to the calender.

    Thanks!
    Denzel

    Thank you, that is much better. As far as calendar color, maybe making the background or border a different color?

    Hi,

    The following code will make the background blue.

    .widget_calendar .widget-content {
    background: #b2b2ff none repeat scroll 0 0 !important;
    }

    The following code will make the date black.

    table#wp-calendar tbody tr td {
    color: black !important;
    }

    The following code for the header.

    thead, thead th, thead td {
    background: #505050 none repeat scroll 0 0 !important;
    color: #ffffff !important;
    }

    Please use them in Theme Options -> Custom CSS.

    You can use this color picker http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colorpicker.asp to find out the color hex value that you want.

    Sorry, I am color blind and not a designer. I am not able to come up with a properly color scheme for your calendar widget. Please kindly experiment with the colors yourself.

    Thanks!
