    Hi,

Please download from this link. https://www.dropbox.com/s/pv55pv9pumvl4kc/woo_template.zip?dl=0

Unzip and you will see two files.

    variable.php and content-product.php

Replace with the file in your evolve-plus/woocommerce/content-product.php
Replace with the file in your evolve-plus/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php

I tested with variation setup in my localhost, everything works properly.
    1) Created a variable product. Screenshot http://prntscr.com/86qkt2
    2) Go to single product – test the color variation. Screenshot http://prntscr.com/86ql6c
    3) Try all color variations. Screenshot http://prntscr.com/86qlek
    4) Add to cart and view cart. Screenshot http://prntscr.com/86qllg

There will not be a theme version update yet, as there are other features that my employer wanted to add to the theme.

    Thanks!

I just upgraded as I understood that I would be then able to use woocommerce as I have a whole chapter in my WordPress book on how to use it, and find its still not compatible.

“Your theme (evolve Plus) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.”

    Then there is more ocs.woothemes.com/document/template-structure/

I have downloaded your suggested files but don’t know how to follow your instructions after that …

Could I have some more details thanks for evolve premium theme thanks.

It does say on the advertising page of theme4press that the ‘evolve theme plus’ works with woocommerce. So I am very disappointed that its not working, after paying the 35€ and I am about to start enrolling students for this academic year. When will it be fixed please?

OPeople have admired the website, and I have found the template good.

    Hi,

The Theme was working properly with woocommerce plugin.
woocommerce plugin recently did an update and changed the codes of the templates. woocommerce is a third party plugin and we do not have any control over what changes they made, or the date they are going to release an update.

In my previous reply, I have posted a link and instructions to update the templates.

If you have problem doing so, I can help you update your copy.

    Hi,

I cannot replace file without FTP access.

Given only WordPress admin access, I can only delete your existing Evolve Plus Theme, and upload a new copy of Evolve Theme with the latest woocommerce updated templates.

Please let me know if this is Ok with you.

Please let me know if you have any modifications to your existing Evolve Plus Theme, I will NOT be able to do any backup for you. You will have to do the backup first.

By the way, I saw your woo child theme. It is not created correctly, you cannot copy all existing Evolve theme files with it, it will cause PHP fatal error, meaning a “white screen of death”.
Template overriding is only for templates and not function files.
You are recommended to engage a competent WordPress developer to assist you in setting up your child theme.

If your purpose of setting up child theme is for saving custom css code, I suggest you use WordPress admin -> Theme Options -> Custom CSS to do it.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Thanks!
