The sticky Read More shows in the middle of the excerpt and the excerpt overlaps thru the slider dots (please refer screenshot)

    Post Slider Content Overlapping

I could not see anything in the Customize settings to fix this.

If you can help, that would be great.

    Thanks a lot in advance

I used the img tag to insert a screenshot here but it is not showing. Here’s the url:

    Hi,

Please get back to us when your site is live.

Alternately, you can enter an excerpt in your add or edit post view in WordPress admin. Enter a short excerpt so that it does not cover the read more button.
What you are using now, should be the auto generated excerpt.

    Thanks!

There is a definitely an issue with the Post Slider being unable to enforce its excerpt length.
While waiting for an update, I think I am just gonna disable this Post Slider and use some plugin. Didn’t have this issue with the Arras theme where its homepage slider is able to override wp’s native excerpt length.

Note: I will be transferring to live site soon. However, you will not be seeing the issue as i cannot have that anomaly visible to the public. Will you still want me to send you the url then ? Do you also need admin login?

    Thank you for your help

    Hi,

I need to see your slide to provide css code to adjust it’s height.
I cannot guess without seeing it.

Yes, you are correct, this slider does not auto adjust it’s height to prevent such overflow. But sorry, I am not the developer, I do not have the knowledge to provide a fix for this.

    Thanks!
