Hi,
I am trying to figure out how the meta tags are being generated in the theme. I installed Yoast, which also generates OG tags for Facebook sharing, but then I get a message that there are multiple og:url tags when I use the Object Debugger in FB. I can see in their code that meta tags are coming from two sources. When all of my plugins are off, there is still meta-data being found by FB and I have no idea how to turn that off so Yoast can control all of my meta-information (since it is easier to customize).
My website is: http://www.acctinmotion.com.
The error I get on FB Linter is: “Object at URL ‘http://www.acctinmotion.com/’ of type ‘website’ is invalid because it specifies multiple ‘og:url’ values: http://www.acctinmotion.com/, http://www.acctinmotion.com/.”When I disable OG for FB in Yoast, the error goes away, but then I cannot customize the Metadata (especially images) how I want.
Ultimately, I want to know how to disable the meta data from wherever else FB is finding it – and I believe it is in the theme because it is there even when all of the plugins are deactivated.
Your help would be much appreciated!
