    When I look at the books displayed on my publisher website, the breadcrumbs are listed with blanks.

    The owner of the product that I use to display my book catalog took a look. Here’s her comment:

    I did a little digging in the code and it looks like they have a bug. If you’d like to contact them about it, you can copy and paste this information for them: the problem appears to be in the basic-functions.php file, in the evolve_breadcrumb() function around line 1091. When the variable $cat_1_line is a blank string, all categories are returned even if the current post does not have any categories.

    This is the lite version of the theme so it might be slightly different in the Plus version, but that should at least give them a place to start.

    Hi,

    I don’t think this is a bug.
    Your “book” is a custom post type created by a plugin.
    You need to edit breadcrumb function to work with your plugin, this is not covered in our support scope.

    Since I’ve already had the person who wrote the plugin look at your code, and she thinks it’s a bug, I’m not convinced. I still think it’s a bug.
