    I have been building my site using Evolve Lite. I purchased the Plus version of the theme. Installed through the admin area of my site, looked at the theme in Preview Mode and it looked broken. Here the images:

    Hi,

    You need to activate Evolve Plus Theme, and clear your browser cache before re-visiting your website.
    And if your Evolve Free theme is not the latest version ( or somewhere near.. ), it will look different from your current Evolve Plus version.

    After you activate your Evolve Plus Theme.
    The Theme will prompt you to install reduxframework plugin and theme4press core plugin.
    Install and activate both plugin.

    Go to Appearance -> Theme Options to make any changes ( NOT Appearance -> Customize ) . Make a simple change and save changes so that there is no empty option value and the theme will look proper.

    thank you, I did all the steps – the site looks more like it should, but the slideshow is gone – bootstrap slider is not working – should I download all the images again?

    Hi,

    Please go to Theme Options -> Bootstrap slider -> Bootstrap Slider placement
    select where you want the bootstrap slider to show up.

    If you are using a static homepage, you can edit the page and select the slider position.

    Yes, I did that, and I got demo slideshow on my Home page. Th question is – is MY slideshow gone? should I upload all my slides again? I had nice slide show with descriptions..

    other question – how can I rid of widgets on the home page – I didn’t have them before

    Hi,

    I do not know why your sliders disappeared. It should not have happened.
    Please take a look at Theme Options -> Bootstrap slider -> Slides.
    If they are gone, you will need to re-create your slides.

    I will report this issue as a bug, if you confirm that your slides are gone.

    As for widgets on homepage.
    Go to Theme Options -> Header -> Header Widgets
    and select the first layout.

    unfortunately, I had to recreate all slides – don’t know if somebody else experienced this problem – would be nice to fix it

    No user reported having slides disappeared, but I will let our developers know.

    Hi,

    I would just like to add to this thread to say that I also experienced my slider not transferring over from evolve lite to elvolve plus. Not a big deal but I just wanted to report that it is happening.
