    I’ve been through all of the customization options 3 times or more – and I think I’ve clicked on every possible “background color” selector – but none of them will allow me to change the background color of the “widget area” on the header.

    Can someone please point me to the correct setting. It’s currently a light grey and I would like to make it white.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Please go to Theme Options -> Styling -> Header & Footer
    Find the setting -> Header color

    Thank you

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply but that’s not it. I’m using the Evolve+ theme. My header consists of a thin screen wide image (random 1 of 3) with the website name and logo overlaid on it. Below that is a strip with a dark grey (almost black) background that contains my main menu. Below the menu, is an area for widgets – I currently have it configured for 4 widget areas. The background color for this area is a gradient grey which is the area I want to change to a white background.

    The option you suggested controls the background color of the very top area that is covered by my image. If i enable it and refresh my page – I see it appear briefly before the image loads and covers it.

    Do you have any other ideas where I might be able to set the background color of the “Header Widget Area”?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Please provide your website URL.
    I need to take a look at your website source and provide a custom css solution.

    Thank you

    http://vaudorne.com

    It’s the widget area below the menu and above the main content.
    The main content has the white background (as desired).
    The menu background is fine the way it is (dark grey/light black).

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Please use the following in Theme Options -> Custom CSS

    .menu-back {
    background: #000000 none repeat scroll 0 0 !important;
    }

    You can change #000000 to the color hex code you require.
    You can use this tool to help pick a color hex code.

    Thank you
