    Hi,

I just purchased the Alora theme but am having a lot of difficulties in getting to know the way it works as what I read in the Alora documentation and the results I get from previewing it seems different. Just for info, I am using localhost to get to know Alora theme better before using it on my webserver. So I dont know if using Alora on localhost might be the problem of failing to load certain things.

1.) Can someone please guide me how to add the REVOLUTION slide show? I already created a slide, it gave me a shortcode. I pasted it onto my text editor and nothing happens. Under page options, I clicked on Revolution Slide and a few options below it , i clicked on my Slide’s name and yet nothing happens. It does not load.

2.) And how do I even edit contact form? Like I want to put the listboxes my own way instead of the default listbox? I need some fields to be required and some not, so how do I even edit that out?

3.) Is there a video or anything out there for a complete guide on Alora theme which will show how to install and use each and every available features available to it?

    Thanks for reading.

    Cheers.

    1. have you try to select the revolution slider in the page edit mode, scroll down and check the Page Options section

    2. sorry, any additional fields cannot be added through theme options panel, or cannot be modified required fields

    3. sorry, there is no video about that. btw have you try to Import the demo content of alora in the theme options pane? it could save you some time if need to set same example pages

1.) I managed to fix that issue. In the documentation, it told me there will be an icon on editor for shortcodes, but I couldn’t find it. However I manage to load the slider by going to the Text editor view and giving it the code tags.

Thanks for the reply and support,

    Cheers.

it’s not there because WP 3.9.1 updated their shortcode implementation and the Revolution slider plugin has not been updated by the author yet for this issue.
