    None of the buttons work when I try to customize my site. I can’t even change the layout.

    please use Redux Framework plugin to enable the theme options…there is a bug with the customizer and WP 4.5 in some OS and browsers.

    How do I do that? Tried customizing WP 4.5 (on Ubuntu) with Mac 10.10.5 FF/Safari/Chrome, Win7 IE11 and Ubuntu 14 FF and none of them allowed me to customize….

    please read my previous comment…download the Redux Plugin, it will enable the theme options panel for you

    I had it but did not see how to edit the theme with it. What I have found is that if I open the web page, then from there open ‘theme options’ I can then edit the settings…

    Hi John,

    After you have installed the reduxframework plugin.
    Go to Appearance -> Theme Options
    You will be able to see an option panel.

    There is no preview for this Theme Options

    You need to make changes, save it and view it on your webpage front end.
