Hi, I have a portfolio three colomn with text and when I click on a picture it links to the portfolio post. Is it possible to link the picture to a blogpostcategory instead so after clicking it would show a page with all the blogposts of that category.

    Sincerely

The url to the portfolio is: nieuwe.roosgoesgreen.nl/gezonde-voeding/

There is one picture there called ‘granen’. I want that to link to this url: nieuwe.roosgoesgreen.nl/category/voeding/granen/ which is a page with the blogpostcategory ‘granen’

    Is that possible?

sorry but this is not possible as the portfolio itself is using its structure and cannot link to a post from your blog. What about insert in the page a picture and link it to the posts?

Thx for the answer. I can use a picture yes but I like the effects on the pictures from your portfoliopages. Is that possible with pictures on normal pages?

Allso, I need to use 12 pictures in that page to link to 12 blogpages. I do know how to link but I don’t know how to do that nicely with 3 columns without using a table. The table I can make responsive (100%) but when the device gets smaller I’d like the pictures to move beneath each other like your portfoliopictures do. That’s not he case with a 100% width table. I know there are ways around that but it’s too complicated for me.

would not be better to use grid layout for blog which can handle this all nicely?

Hi again. I’m not sure I can use grid layout because the page with the gridlayout shows the posts of only 1 category.

I want a page with 12 pictures in 3 columns and each picture links to a different postcategory so after clicking on a picture it shows a new page with bloglayout from that category. I can easily do that with a table with 12 pictures who link to the 12 blogpostcategories but is it possible without table?

    Sincerely

sorry but without modifying the theme’s code this is not possible :(….there is maybe little similar workout, but not sure if it will fullfill your requirement – using a blog grid shortcode, there you can set 1 column per one category. it will display most recent post in a grid a like system https://theme4press.com/alora-documentation/shortcodes/blog/ that’s all I can suggest
