    I have a fresh install of WordPress and evolve theme. This is one of the pages of it http://cdpo-argus.ru/wordpress/povyshenie-kvalifikatsii/stroitelstvo/. And I found two problem: first, I need string before widgets in footer so I deside to do it via additional css and :before selector and it store in database in correct form, but then it display on page then no. Second: in breadcrumb at first position I have “Home” word witch is not translated, and I can find it in .Po And .Mo files. Sorry for mistakes. Waiting yor reply.

    can you paste here what string are you trying to insert?

    For the Home string, be sure to check the en_EN.po file carefully, it’s there for sure 😉

    I’m trying to insert “Об учебном центре” via css .container-footer:before{content:"Об учебном центре";}, but I see “РћР± учебном центре” – you can see it at any page.

    It doesn’t work. And if to do so? then you don’t see no russian letters. The problem was solved by adding
    AddDefaultCharset UTF-8
    php_value default_charset utf-8

    in .htaccess file
