    I have been creating a demo site for a prospective client and was using the portfolio to store restaurant menu items.
    I had several categories – one of which was called ‘Menu’ – I’d originally intended to add all items to this category as well as other categories but noticed there was already an ‘All’ filter so I removed that category.

    All I get now when I try and render the page is:

    I tried removing all the categories and recreating them – still no go. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the theme, redux, theme4press but still the error remains (as does the data).

    Really annoyed.

    let’s start by updating the theme..you are using an older one…the latest one is 2.6.4

    done that. thought I was already on the latest theme/version – must’ve installed an older zip file. The error is still there.

    no files modified.
    It was working before I removed a category (tried adding it back but doesn’t work).
    By all means – fill your boots!

    on the Portfolio page was forgotten on the edit view the Portfolio Type -> All Categories 😉

    Ah, on portfolio options on the page! I’d forgotten there was a setting there – it would’ve been set to ‘Menu’ before I expect (which was the category I deleted).

    Still, might be useful to trap the error and display one that might help other users – whilst I was Googling for the ‘problem’ I came across another site that had been indexed with that error!

    Ah, any reason why only ‘All’, ‘Breakfast’, ‘Breakfast Sandwiches’ and ‘Extras’ are the only categories showing?
    There are things in ‘Jacket Potatoes’!
    The filters not showing.

    Perhaps I’ve missed something else. Thanks for your patience.
