    this requires changing the widget’s core code. by the way, you could use shortcode Recent Posts https://theme4press.com/alora-documentation/shortcodes/recent-news/ and implement it in the text widget

    Do I need to install or download something to get this recent news thing working. When I use the Evolve Tabs my Revolution Slider stops working.

    evolve includes Theme4Press core, which you need to install and enable, then the shortcode will work as you need 😉

    I think this definition in the code is not correct cat_slug=”news_post”, it should be the original posts category name

    Just looks a bit boring and plain. Would really like to use the Evolve Tab thing if it didn’t interfere with the slider.

    Do you think the theme update would eliminate the Revolution Slider/Evolve tab issue? I can’t update, but could I uninstall and reinstall the version without losing all my settings?
