  When I add social sharing to posts the sharing happens but weird image showing up

  On using FB debugger I get these error msgs
  Facebook CDN not allowed for og:image. Provided og:image URL, https://external.xx.fbcdn.net/safe_image.php?d=AQC4s38kOuzbQezW&w=130&h=130&url=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.salon.com%2F2016%2F02%2FWatters-world-1280×755.png&cfs=1&sx=170&sy=0&sw=755&sh=755, is disallowed because it points to the Facebook CDN.

  I imagine this is something in install or settings but have not been able to figure it out . Any help or guidance much appreciated

From the FB debug tool “fb:app_id hasn’t been included in the meta tags. Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in”
WHERE DO I SET THE APP ID .. is that something theme sets ?

Thanks for your brief clarification!
Yes, it seems to be a plugin conflict. I’d advice try deactivating all the third party plugins in your site one by one, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know which plugin is causing the problem, and you can specify one by reactivating them one at a time.
