I’m trying to figure out how to put ads in Alora. I realize there’s no built-in support for it, like with Evolve, so I’m experimenting with either a child theme or editing the header and footer directly.

However, I can’t find where things are supposed to go! Any help would be appreciated. I’m using Google DFP ad server, which is similar to their AdSense product. I’ve put the header code in fine using the “Space before HEAD” option in General Options, and I’ve been able to put ads in the sidebars with Text widgets. But I’m trying to put some ads in the header and footer, and the post body.

    Thanks!

you will need to use some additional plugin, because alora doesn’t include any spaces for such ads. it could be added by a custom coding, but we don’t cover such support in our forums.

Something similar I talked about here. I think a header widget area should be in the next version.

it’s little bit different issue…he needs an ads be placed in the post area also….in the header area can be inserted an ads with the Header #4 style

yes, it’s better to use some additional plugin as I prefer to stay away from any ads integration for security reasons
