    Hi,

I opened en_EN.po and saved it as other language with my translation.
In wp-config.php I also defined that language. Uploaded both of my language files to /wp-content/themes/evolve-plus/languages but I’m still not seeing that translation? Any suggestions? I even tried to translate en_EN.po “Type your search” but its still not showing my translation.

    You need also en_EN.mo file.
Try use this plugin to translate: https://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/

That’s what was the problem languages folder was not there inside wp-content/

@Lukasz thank you for that plugin suggestion! I was testing both Poedit and the plugin and found that plugin is easier to work with if you spend some time to learn it and don’t forget to generate .mo file after you’re done editing.
I just needed couple of translations of English file and it worked out pretty good.
