I keep my themes updated, but work with a child theme for all my websites:
    hope-challenged.com
    tech-challenged.com
    dvoraelisheva.com

My Hosting service wants to update my sites to PHP 7.1 but they advise that Theme4Press Core is NOT compatible with PHP 7.1

    What can I do?

    Thank you

    Deborah

Hi. Did they gave an explanation what they base it on? Because we have websites running on hosting with PHP 7.1 without any issues.

Hello, we have found the problem. Next version (we will roll it out within the next 24 hours) will address it.

Thank you so much! I will tell my hosting service to upgrade my PHP version and see if all is OK.

Also, I had written to Notify me for follow-up, but for some reason didn’t receive the email… but glad I checked here. Thanks again!!!!

No problem, thank you for choosing our theme. Do tell us if there is a problem.

Hi I updated everything, but have not seen an update for the Theme4Press core yet.
I still get a message that Them4Press core is not compatible.

    Can you please advise?

Hi. How did you update and what is the theme version you have now? Maybe it would be easier if you just gave me access to your website admin and FTP in a private message.

Hi. It is not a problem to try and update everything (there are instructions in our documentation). There is a change that everything will go OK, but I would still look for a developer just to be on the safe side. You theme version is just too old, so there might be a problem with the transition.
