    Hi,

    thanks for developing Evolve!

I’m in progress to create a small website using the current Evolve theme with WP 4.1.1.

I’m using the mutilanguage plugin Polylang, which so far works fine in Evolve.

My problem is, that I would like to have the standard revolution slider and the front boxes in two languages.
Just know the same rev slider and front boxes are seen on my englisch and my german homepage.

I believe I have to create 2 new pages to use them as homepages?
I can assign a rev slider to every page using the pages options, but I can’t select Evolve’s ‘default’ rev slider??
How can I re-created the revolution slider ‘default’ on other pages? And how can I copy it to be able to use a second version (in another language)?

    Thanks for your support!

    Regards
    Marcus

check out this, maybe can help http://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/creating-multilingual-sliders-with-revolution-slider-and-wpml/ , you can also assign a specific slider on any page when you are in the edit post/page mode, just scroll down and select the revolution slider per your needs

Thanks Roman for your fast answer!

    Hmm … means for me:

    – I switch of the Bootstrap Revolution Slider from ‘Homepage only’ to ‘Manualy select …’ and set the slider via Page options an the 2 Homepages I want to use (german/englisch)
    – switch of the Frontpage Boxes on the Homepage (as they are bind to only one page)

At this point I have 2 problems:
    – what are the details to recreate Evolve’s Bootstraps Slider (standard revolution slider ‘default’)? Can I grab somewhere the data for the slides a.o.?
    – How can I use and insert the Frontpage Conten Boxes on other pages?

    Thanks in advance!
    Marcus

bootstrap export/import to revolution slider will not work, you need to create a new slider in the revolution one. for the content boxes, they can display only on the front page, if you want to use content boxes on another pages, you could use the shortcode for that – https://theme4press.com/alora-documentation/shortcodes/content-boxes/

    Ah, I see.
But there is no way to include the Content Boxes obove the side content, like at the homepage, or?

Thanks again for your support, Roman!

it could be if you enable the header widgets in Theme Options -> Header -> Header widgets placement and paste the shortcode in the Text widget in the areas..then it should work as you wish 😉

    O.k. – that’s great. Thanks!

How can I limit the Header on selected pages?

In the theme options I can select:

    – Hompage (default) – this is working as aspected
    – Single Post – can’t ceck now
    – Seiten (= Pages) – not working? #1
    – Alle Seiten (= All Pages) – this is working as aspected

#1 – I’m assuming this is what I need to select, but where can I define the pages which should show the Header? Is it a bug?
Using this Header widgets will shown on all pages (?)

    THANKS!
