    Hello,

    I just upgraded to WordPress 5.5–it_IT, Evolve+ 2.9.9.8 and Shortcodes 1.0.2.
Most of the things are working finally but when I use the Customise option of the theme I can see strange entries.
I tried already to clear the cache multiple times.
I think it is something to do with the translation files.
On another website, I use WordPress 5.5–en_GB and the same versions of Evolve+ and ShortCodes and I can notice some strange labels there.
    I add here the screenshots:
    The Italian one:

    The British one:

    Thanks & Regards,
    Marco – StockTrader

seems to be the same problem with .mo files reported here: https://theme4press.com/support-forums/topic/wp5-5-evolve-plus-2-9-9-8-language-sets/

Yes, it seems the same problem.
What do you recommend? Wait for a fix or try the .mo files from a previous version of the theme?
    Kind regards,
    Marco

I take the 2.9.9.4 files, install the loco-translate plugin and after setup the path to the .pot file I do a sync and create my own translation for missing strings. Tip: the path to the .pot file should be languages/evolve.pot
    A how-to can be found here: https://theme4press.com/guide/docs/how-to-translate/?utm_source=evolve-plus-about&utm_medium=help-translate-link&utm_campaign=theme-content-box#premium

I’m sure that one of the next updates contains propper language files.

    Thanks Andreas for the suggestion.
I used the old file for te Italian translation and it is going better.
I hope to see in the next version a definitive fix.
    Kind regards,
    Marco

In case someone needs the old files, you can download them from here. In the next update, we will replace the problematic language files with the old ones, so everything will be exactly as before. Sorry for the inconvenience.
